V-Server Igate

V-Server IGATE is a voice over IP gateway which can be used to access our VoIP Services.

The V-SERVER iGATE is a 2-port (2 analogue phone port) VoIP (voice over IP) device. It has built-in router function to support major routing protocols, such as RIP, NAT and Priority Routing. It provides WAN Interfaces through its ISDN and Serial port and also interfaces with LAN using an Ethernet port. iGATE can obtain access to the Internet through ISDN, LAN, Cable Modem, DSL Modem or regular modem connections.

Async Connection

An external modem can be connected to the Async (labeled as "Serial") port and through the modem, iGATE can gain access to the Internet through a dial-up service. The Async connection has "auto-dial" and "idle timeout" features. Note that some versions of the V-SERVER iGATE may not have the Serial port.

Ethernet Connection

iGATE has a 10BaseT Ethernet port and built-in DHCP, and BOOTP client. Through its Ethernet port, iGATE can access the Internet via a LAN. The Ethernet port also serves as an interface between a private network and WAN when the iGATE's router function is enabled.

H.323

Since iGATE is a H.323 compliant device, it can communicate with any third-party H.323 compliant devices on the Internet. Voice calls also can be made between an iGATE and a PC using Microsoft NetMeeting.
